ARCTIC BLAST: 2 waves of very cold air take aim on Middle Tennessee

Wind chills could range from 10 below to 25 below, temperatures that can cause frostbite to exposed skin within 30 minutes.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind combine to create low wind chills. Make sure to wear hats and gloves when going outside.

The cold was expected to continue Wednesday, and snow and high temperatures in the teens were possible Thursday. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7.

The wind chill warning remains in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 2. Add a wind chill, and it will feel like the single digits.
