The U.S technology giant pushed out fixes for the glitch on February 19, and they are now available for each of its operating systems: macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

The bug, discovered last week, allowed the Indian character in the Telugu language to shut down iOS apps and prevent them from opening back up. When the iPhone Twitter app user received a "like" notification on the screen, he/she would likely open the tweet, which would lead to the crash.

Apple later acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a fix was on the way.

To install the update on your device, head over to Settings General Software Update.

Imran Khan Marries 'Spiritual Adviser' In Third Marriage
Since January there have been several media reports that hinted Imran Khan's marriage but no confirmation came till yesterday. Earlier, she was married to Khawar Farid Maneka, a senior customs official in Islamabad but parted ways in recent times.

News of the bug made the rounds last week with videos showing how messaging a specific character could cause the iOS springboard to crash. This includes a bug fix for the Indian language (Telugu) character that crashes and makes apps like Messages, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp inaccessible. The only way to access iMessage after receiving the bug-causing character is if the user who sent the message sends another message and the recipient deletes the entire thread. "It seems, however, that the beta of iOS 11.3 is already immune, which is a good signal". The company had promised to resolve the issue before the public release of iOS 11.3.

You should be able to download both updates right now, and you should, or you'll probably get pranked in the near future. Also indicated in the notes is the update's ability to fix "an issue where some third-party apps could fail to connect to external accessories". Even Apple Watches, when connected with iPhones, were vulnerable to that bug.

It is the latest in a series of "text bomb" flaws to affect Apple devices.
