The trio head to Hope County to follow the leads of missing locals and other odd events, before meeting Eden's Gate leader Joseph Seed, who is played by Greg Bryk (A History of Violence) in both the movie and the game.
If the latest live action trailer for Far Cry 5 made you uncomfortable, then get ready for more crazed religious ranting and ritual from the same talent. The short film is produced in partnership with Asylum, an award-winning division of prolific feature film studio Legendary Entertainment.
The film focuses on 3 vloggers who have been lured into the game's main town of Hope County after hearing rumors of the cult. As the vloggers follow the leads of missing locals and other odd events, they come face-to-face with cult leader, Joseph Seed, and the rest of the fanatical doomsday cult. Greg Byrk plays the cult leader in both the game itself and this live-action tale, in which his followers take control of a small town in Hope County, Montana. You can check out some screens from the film in the gallery below. We had the chance to watch Inside Eden's Gate last week and will have a review coming soon.
