Packers set to go after Watkins, Graham, Robinson

The Packers have rarely made major moves early in free agency in recent years, but new general manager Brian Gutekunst has indicated that he intends to be more active than predecessor Ted Thompson.

Packers are releasing WR Jordy Nelson, per source. By cutting Nelson, the Packers save $10,218,750 in salary-cap space. All of a sudden, there will most likely be a handful of teams still in search of filling a void at receiver that will strongly consider bringing Nelson on board at the right price. During the 2014 season, he explained, in part, how he did so for an ESPN story.

So indeed, where does this leave quarterback Aaron Rodgers when it comes to not having his favorite target? He was scheduled to count over a little over $12.5 million on the Packers' cap in 2018.

We expect this was in every way connected to the team's signing of tight end Jimmy Graham.

After signing tight end Jimmy Graham the Green Bay Packers have reportedly released veteran wide receiver Jordy Nelson. In a three-season span from 2013-14 and '16, he did not miss a game and racked up an impressive 280 grabs, 35 of those for scores. He was also the NFL's comeback player of the year.

India, France sign deals worth $16 billion
Macron arrived in India on Friday night along with his wife Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron and senior ministers of his cabinet. Analysts had already predicted Macron pitching France as India's gateway to Europe after UK's exit from the European Union.

That year, he posted career highs in catches (98) and receiving yards (1,519), and hauled in 13 touchdown catches.

The issue here for the Patriots is that Nelson will be 33-years-old in May, ancient for a wide receiver by National Football League standards.

Management at the Green Bay Jersey Store, just a couple blocks away from Lambeau Field, believes that Nelson's jersey will still be a big seller whether he retires or goes to a new team. "He has been an exemplary professional and teammate and greatly contributed to our success". However, it's not that they can't re-sign him at a lower rate.

Jordy Nelson and his wife, Emily have two sons, Royal and Brooks, and an adopted daughter, Adda Jo.
