The 23-year-old Worley is a Philly native who spent the first two seasons of his National Football League career with the Carolina Panthers after they selected him in the third round of the 2016 National Football League draft out of West Virginia.
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley has been tasered and arrested by police after he became combative with officers after being found passed out in his vehicle. That's when police arrived and a confrontation unfolded, according to the report.
An Eagles spokesman said the team is in the process of gathering information about the Sunday incident. He was a third-round pick out of West Virginia in 2016. The NFL Network also said a gun was recovered from the scene.

A Philadelphia native, Worley has played 25 games over two seasons with the Panthers, recording three interceptions.
