Avengers: Infinity War Continues To Break Many Box Office Milestones

Weekend Box Office – 'Avengers: Infinity War' Hits $1 Billion Worldwide In Fastest Time Ever

Infinity War is now the 34th movie ever to pass $1 billion, joining the likes of Avatar, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Frozen, Skyfall, and Minions.

"Avengers: Infinity War", $112.5 million ($162.6 million international). However, Solo, the upcoming Han Solo movie, is tracking for a $170 million+ opening weekend, which could set a new box office records itself.

The film grossed over a billion dollars faster than any other movie in history, and it's only in its second weekend in theaters. As of now, Avengers: Infinity War's domestic total stands at $450.8 million, with $713.3 million from foreign territories for a global total of $1.164 billion.

The $112.5 million that Infinity War is expected to make this weekend represents a dropoff of 56 percent from its opening weekend. Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez star in the Lionsgate remake of a 1987 movie about a struggling single mother who persuades a rich playboy with amnesia that they are married. Looking ahead to next weekend, only two movies will arrive in wide release, with Universal's thriller Breaking In, starring Gabrielle Union, and New Line Cinema's Life of the Party, starring Melissa McCarthy.

The more important question is whether A Quiet Place will quietly sneak its way to $200 million.

New York Mets right to cut ties with Matt Harvey
It's something we tried to address, we struggled with, and we wrestled with over two managerial regimes. And the results weren't any better, as he had a 10.50 ERA in four appearances.

If I wanted to be nitpicky, one complaint that I can come up with is that we didn't get enough of the Black Order, which I felt were pretty awesome, and another complaint of mine would be their deaths.

"Tully", $3.2 million ($200,000 international).

This overtakes Black Panther impressive second weekend total of $111 million.

"Super Troopers 2", $1.8 million ($90,000 international).

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.
