G7 Summit meeting

"Republican SeNator John McCain accused Trump of "playing right into (Russian President Vladimir) Putin´s hands" with his comment that appeared to question the American commitment to defend all North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies". It found its voice Thursday, and what came out was less a battle cry than a chorus of "Kumbaya".

"We build friendships, and we have not lost a single one, and at the same time we are able to boldly and defensively protect and defend our own national interests", the government statement continued.

"We have no intentions whatsoever to start World War III, we are too small for that", the country's foreign minister, Srdjan Darmanovic, told CNN in an exclusive interview.

So Colbert last night asked, "Why is Trump picking on Montenegro?"

"I understand what you're saying, I've asked the same question", Trump responded. "The president and his administration are working very hard to make sure that Russian Federation is unable to meddle in our elections as they have done in the past". "They may get aggressive, and congratulations, you're in World War III".

However, in the days after the summit he flip-flopped on various issues, apparently because of pressure at home, saying later that he does accepts the conclusion of the U.S. intelligence agencies that Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 presidential election, and claiming that he had warned Putin over the issue.

Whichever the case, Trump at various points in his Monday news conference made clear that he found Putin's position on the matter compelling. The statement also stressed the fact that its alliance with the USA was strong and ideal. Montenegro have been fighting for freedom for centuries.

Montenegro was a rare country in the region to retain a level of autonomy during the Turkish Ottoman Empire.

President Trump has been working hard to destabilize this alliance, treating our longtime friends like enemies and providing comfort to our Russian antagonists. And Montenegrins are fearless people in those fights for its freedom.

Plenty of US presidents have created commotion in their travels overseas, but none as much as President Donald Trump. "I will say this I don't see any reason why it would be".

"Article 5 has only been invoked once, in support of the U.S. after the 9/11 attacks". Russian Federation has denied the allegation.

The reaction of Miljan Kovacevic, 34, a lawyer in Montenegro, was more akin to his prime minister's post-shove aplomb.
